Alice- I am a gardener in the northwest part of the US. I enjoy reading Gardens Illustrated. I have been a big fan of UK designers and feel fortunate to have run across your blog. I will run out to buy the latest issue to read your article. I liked your philosophy of doubling the border and using fewer plants. This is definitely mine, and many other gardeners', problem with our chaotic landscapes. Best of luck and congrats on your article!

Congrats! Looks like a great article and it is always good to remember simplicity. This is something I strive for, but never quite seem to reach. Thanks!
